Who are the trailblazers and pioneers? How do you define or determine who is a trailblazer and pioneers? Is it something that he or she has done over a lifetime, or is it just one major, outstanding feat that has cemented their name in history/herstory. The men and women depicted here have had some influential role in the history. Some helped pave the way for so many, old and young. Trailblazers and Pioneers are a group of individual that improved our lives or our daily living, they contributed in some way to change how we see or do things, in general they had some impact that made things better.
As with any so-called list there will be debate, but after all isn’t that what any list is supposed to do: to stimulate discussion. Trailblazers and Pioneers celebrates the lives, accomplishments and achievements of these remarkable individuals. Some of them are heralded and there are those who are not. They are innovators, but they don’t always get their due despite the accomplishments. One must remember, that any trailblazer and/or pioneer is defined by the person’s point of view.
